How to increase the download speed in Origin EA.

Hi Guys,

I've made a short tutorial to help you guys get the maximum download speed from Origin when downloading a game.

1. Create a blank notepad file on your desktop.

2. Open it and paste exactly as shown below.

[connection]
EnvironmentName=production

[Feature]
CdnOverride=akamai

3. Now save the file. (note: while choosing the file save option, choose save as and not save)

4. Name the file as EACore.ini

5. Save as type must be ALL FILES instead of Text document(.txt)

6. Start Origin Client now from your desktop shortcut icon.

7. The moment you start origin it will ask you read the [EACore.ini]  file from desktop

8. Click YES

9. Origin will load up and it should show (R&D Mode)

BENEFITS:
This will help you start Origin in Research and Development mode.
It will not bottleneck your Internet download speed.
Nothing to worry about, just enjoy the super fast download speed.
